Solar-Powered LoRaWAN Soil Temperature Sensor is a high-performance outdoor sensor engineered for precision agriculture, soil health monitoring, vineyards, compost systems, and environmental research.

Featuring a waterproof DS18B20 stainless-steel temperature probe, it provides accurate soil temperature readings across a wide range from –55°C to +125°C, with a typical accuracy of ±0.5°C. The extended cable allows for deep soil placement while keeping the main enclosure safely above ground.

The D20S-LS includes an integrated solar panel and rechargeable Li-ion battery, providing continuous, maintenance-free operation even in remote or off-grid deployments. Its rugged IP66 waterproof enclosure ensures dependable performance in harsh Australian environmental conditions.

Using LoRaWAN v1.0.3 Class A, the sensor transmits long-range, low-power data and integrates seamlessly with AU915/AS923 LoRaWAN networks, including ProSight, TTN, ChirpStack, TagoIO, and private gateways.

The device includes BLE configuration, OTA firmware updates, configurable temperature alarms, and onboard data buffering to preserve readings during network outages.

All ProSense agricultural sensors — including this D20S-LS model — are fully compatible with ProSight Monitoring Software, giving you dashboards, temperature history, alerts, compliance logs, and environmental insights.
