Solar-Powered LoRaWAN SDI-12 Environmental Sensor Interface
A solar-powered LoRaWAN SDI-12 interface for remote agriculture, irrigation, and environmental monitoring. Powered by an integrated solar panel and Li-ion battery for continuous long-term operation - stocked locally and backed by ProSense Australia.
This Solar-Powered SDI-12 to LoRaWAN Interface is designed for long-term, maintenance-free environmental monitoring in remote and off-grid locations. It provides direct SDI-12 connectivity for professional-grade sensors used in agriculture, hydrology, soil science, and weather monitoring systems.
The integrated 0.9W solar panel charges a long-life 3000mAh Li-ion battery, enabling continuous autonomous operation for years with minimal user intervention. It offers selectable 5V and 12V sensor power outputs, allowing compatibility with a wide range of SDI-12 instruments including soil moisture probes, weather sensors, rain gauges, and more.
Using LoRaWAN Class A communication, the device ensures ultra-low-power, long-range data transmission back to any compliant LoRaWAN gateway or cloud platform. Setup is simple with Bluetooth 5.1 mobile configuration, and remote LoRaWAN commands make ongoing adjustments easy without a site visit. OTA firmware updates provide future-proofing and simplify maintenance.
ProSense stocks this model locally in Australia and provides full support for integration, commissioning, and connectivity - including set-up on ProSight Cloud or your own IoT system.
