The Solar-Powered Cellular Outdoor Sensor Node is a high-performance, ultra-low-power IoT device designed for long-term outdoor monitoring across agriculture, water management, environmental sensing, industrial automation, and smart-city applications.
Equipped with a built-in 0.9W solar panel and 3000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, it provides continuous, maintenance-free operation even in remote or off-grid locations. The rugged IP66 waterproof enclosure ensures durability in harsh Australian conditions.
The device uses LoRaWAN (AU915 / AS923) for ultra-long-range, low-power wireless communication and integrates easily with LoRaWAN networks such as ProSight, TagoIO, Chirpstack, The Things Network (TTN), and private gateways.
Configuration is quick via Bluetooth v5.1 using a mobile app, and remote OTA firmware updates make fleet maintenance simple.
With multiple industrial-grade interfaces including digital I/O, one-wire, UART, and I²C, this device can connect to a wide range of agricultural, environmental, and industrial sensors.
All ProSense wireless sensors, including this model, are designed to work seamlessly with our ProSight Software platform, providing dashboards, alerts, trends, compliance reporting, and remote site monitoring.
For customers building their own applications, the device can also be integrated into your own software platform through standard LoRaWAN payloads and MQTT/API integrations.
