This Solar-Powered LoRaWAN Door Sensor provides continuous outdoor door and gate monitoring with zero battery maintenance. Designed for long-term industrial use, it integrates a Li-ion rechargeable battery and an efficient solar charging module to power itself indefinitely under normal outdoor lighting.

The device monitors open/close status, open duration, and total open counts, with options for immediate event-based reporting or periodic scheduled uploads to optimise network traffic. A configurable Open Alarm allows the system to send an alert if a door remains open beyond a set threshold — improving site security and operational awareness.

With a rugged IP-rated enclosure, extended operating temperature range, and weatherproof design, this sensor is ideal for remote sites, farms, utility compounds, warehouses, shipping gates, and industrial environments.

Easily configured via Bluetooth and supporting over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates, the sensor integrates seamlessly with ProSight, The Things Network, ChirpStack, and any LoRaWAN server.
