The WSS-06 is a total radiation sensor engineered to measure solar radiation across the 0.3–3 μm (300–3000 nm) spectral range with high accuracy and stability. Its precision photosensitive element is protected by a PTFE radiation cover, shielding it from environmental interference while maintaining consistent performance over time.
When mounted face-up, the WSS-06 measures total incoming solar radiation; when mounted face-down, it can measure reflected radiation. A shading ring can be used to capture scattered radiation for advanced meteorological analysis.
Designed for easy integration into the Dragino Weather Station solution, the WSS-06 connects directly via RS485 to the WSC1-L main processor. Data is processed and wirelessly transmitted via LoRaWAN to your IoT server, enabling real-time monitoring and analytics.
