RS485 Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) Sensor – 400–700 nm

RS485 Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) Sensor – 400–700 nm

$733.00Price

High-accuracy PAR sensor for measuring photosynthetically active radiation in natural light. Ideal for weather stations, agricultural monitoring, and plant growth studies, with seamless RS485 integration into LoRaWAN systems.

The WSS-07 Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) sensor is engineered to measure the intensity of natural light in the critical 400–700 nm wavelength range — the spectrum plants use for photosynthesis. Using a precision optical detector and high-quality optical filter, the sensor delivers stable, accurate readings for environmental and agricultural applications.

When exposed to sunlight, the WSS-07 generates a voltage signal proportional to the incident radiation, with cosine-corrected response for accurate measurement regardless of light angle. This makes it ideal for applications such as crop monitoring, greenhouse control, and solar energy research.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with the Dragino Weather Station solution, the WSS-07 connects via RS485 to the WSC1-L main processor. Data is processed and transmitted wirelessly via LoRaWAN, enabling real-time monitoring and historical data analysis.
