The Monnit ALTA® IoT Gateway enables reliable, real-time communication between ALTA® Wireless Sensors and the iMonnit cloud platform using 4G LTE CAT-M1/NB2 cellular technology—without relying on local IT networks or Wi-Fi.
Designed for rapid deployment and minimal setup, this plug-and-play gateway requires only a power source to begin transmitting sensor data to the cloud. It supports commercial and industrial environments, making it ideal for remote monitoring, mobile assets, and locations without internet infrastructure.
The gateway includes a GNSS chipset compatible with GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS satellites for location tracking (when enabled with a subscription). It also features a 60-hour internal battery backup, ensuring continued transmission during power outages. The commercial version includes an Ethernet port for local configuration and optional network integration.
⚠️ Note: Requires Monnit sensors for data collection and may require a software subscription. Visit the Software/Sensors tab or browse our ready-to-use kits.
