This NB-IoT Leaf Moisture & Temperature Sensor provides accurate and continuous monitoring of leaf surface wetness and temperature—key indicators for irrigation planning, disease prediction, frost alerts, and overall crop health.
Designed specifically for modern agriculture, the sensor uses advanced FDR technology to measure moisture based on the dielectric response of water droplets on the leaf surface. The probe itself is engineered in a realistic leaf shape with 15 vein lines per centimetre, enabling it to detect small droplets, dew formation, and subtle moisture changes with exceptional accuracy.
Data is transmitted via NB-IoT LPWAN using protocols such as MQTT, MQTTs, UDP, and TCP, ensuring compatibility with ProSight and a wide range of third-party platforms. BLE configuration and remote OTA firmware updates make setup and maintenance simple.
Housed in an IP66-rated enclosure and powered by a long-life 8500mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery, the sensor supports multi-year deployment in harsh outdoor environments.
