4G Leaf Moisture Sensor for Smart Agriculture & Crop Health Monitoring
Monitor real-time leaf moisture and temperature for smarter crop management. Designed for precision agriculture, this NB-IoT sensor delivers actionable insights on plant health, dew formation, watering needs, and frost risks.
The NB-IoT Leaf Moisture Sensor is purpose-built for agricultural IoT applications—providing precise, wireless monitoring of leaf moisture and temperature in real-time. By using Frequency Domain Reflectometry (FDR) to measure the dielectric constant caused by water on leaf surfaces, it simulates real leaf behavior with a leaf-shaped IP67-rated probe featuring 15 vein lines/cm for high sensitivity to microdroplets and environmental changes.
The device supports NB-IoT network communication and uploads data periodically or during environmental triggers. Farmers, researchers, and environmental managers can leverage this sensor to make data-driven decisions on irrigation, dew detection, frost alerts, and overall crop health optimization.
Powered by a high-capacity 8500mAh Li-SOCI₂ battery, it’s engineered for multi-year autonomous use, even in remote outdoor settings. With support for MQTT, TCP, UDP, and CoAP, this device integrates seamlessly into existing cloud-based IoT platforms.
