MONNIT Wireless Local Alert with LCD Display and Audible Alarm

The MONNIT Wireless Local Alert with LCD Display and Audible Alarm is designed for situations where an IoT monitoring notification needs to be noticed locally. Rather than depending solely on an email, text message or computer notification, the Local Alert provides physical indications at the monitoring location.

When a configured notification is received through the Monnit gateway, the device can flash its red LED, sound an alarm and show a custom message on its LCD. These functions can be used individually or together depending on how the notification is configured in iMonnit.

The LCD can display the device name, a custom message, a sensor reading and notification time. Up to 10 notifications or sensor readings can be stored, allowing users to review messages using the device controls.

How it works

• Monnit sensors send their information through a compatible Monnit wireless gateway.
• The gateway communicates notification information to the Local Alert.
• The Local Alert responds according to the notification settings configured in iMonnit.
• Available alert actions include a flashing red LED, audible tones and a custom LCD message.
• Sensor readings can also be associated with the Local Alert for display, although sensor readings themselves do not activate the alarm.

Note: The Local Alert does not communicate directly with sensors. A compatible ALTA Wireless Gateway is required for operation.
