MONNIT Ethernet Wireless Sensor Gateway is an Ethernet gateway designed to connect Monnit ALTA wireless sensors to the iMonnit online monitoring and notification system. It uses a 10/100 Ethernet connection with an RJ45 connector and supports DHCP, DNS, NTP, UDP, TCP, SNMP and Modbus TCP protocols. The gateway provides local status indicators, stores sensor messages during an internet outage and transfers stored messages when the connection is restored.

The MONNIT Ethernet Wireless Sensor Gateway is designed to collect data from compatible Monnit ALTA wireless sensors and pass that information through an Ethernet network to the iMonnit online monitoring and notification system. Monnit states that the gateway can operate without a PC once it is connected to power and an Ethernet network with internet access.

The MONNIT Ethernet Wireless Sensor Gateway is the 433 MHz model, making it the appropriate frequency variant for the Asia-Pacific and Australian regions listed by Monnit.
