Monitor soil conditions with confidence using this LoRaWAN Soil Temperature Sensor, engineered for precision agriculture, compost systems, greenhouse environments, and remote environmental monitoring.

Equipped with a 2-meter waterproof stainless-steel DS18B20 temperature probe, it provides accurate underground temperature readings from –55°C to +125°C, with a typical accuracy of ±0.5°C. The long cable length makes it suitable for deep soil profiling or installations where the sensor body must remain above ground.

Designed for demanding outdoor conditions, the device features a rugged IP66 waterproof enclosure and is powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCl₂ industrial battery, delivering up to 5 years of maintenance-free operation depending on reporting intervals.

Using LoRaWAN v1.0.3 Class A, the sensor connects to AU915/AS923 LoRaWAN networks and works seamlessly with ProSight, ChirpStack, TTN, TagoIO, and private gateways.

The device includes BLE configuration, wireless OTA firmware updates, configurable temperature alarms, and onboard data logging in case connectivity is temporarily lost.

All ProSense wireless sensors — including this unit — are designed to work perfectly with our ProSight Monitoring Software, giving you dashboards, alerts, graphs, historical records, and analytics.
