This LoRaWAN Water Leak Sensor is a rugged, industrial-grade device designed for rapid detection of water leaks across commercial, industrial, and residential environments. Unlike traditional wired leak sensors, this unit requires no installation — simply place it on any floor surface. The three adjustable metal posts on the base act as detection probes; when water bridges the posts, an immediate leak alert is sent to your IoT platform.
Built with an IP65 waterproof enclosure, the sensor is suitable for plant rooms, HVAC drip trays, pump stations, kitchens, basements, and smart-building applications. It features LoRaWAN Class A connectivity for long-range, low-power communication with extremely high interference immunity.
Powered by a CR123A 1500mAh battery, the sensor delivers between 16,000–70,000 uplinks (approx. 2–10 years of battery life). The battery is fully replaceable, allowing long-term deployment without device replacement. The sensor also supports periodic heartbeat uploads, event uploads, leak duration tracking, and leak count statistics.
It includes wireless OTA firmware updates, LoRaWAN downlink control, and magnetic activation for easy commissioning.
