The S31-LB Battery-Powered LoRaWAN Temperature & Humidity Sensor is a robust, long-life environmental monitoring device ideal for agriculture, greenhouses, smart buildings, industrial control, HVAC systems, and outdoor environmental applications.

Built around the Sensirion SHT31 digital sensor — well known for its exceptional accuracy and long-term stability — the S31-LB provides precise, fully calibrated measurements of both temperature and relative humidity. The sensor probe is housed inside a waterproof, anti-condensation protective casing for reliable operation in challenging, humid, or outdoor environments.

The 3-metre external SHT31 probe allows flexible mounting in ducts, shelters, enclosures, soil, chambers, cabinets, or shaded outdoor locations while keeping the electronics protected in an IP66-rated enclosure.

The S31-LB transmits data using LoRaWAN Class A long-range wireless technology, enabling multi-kilometre communication at extremely low power. It seamlessly integrates with AU915/AS923 gateways including ProSight, TTN, TagoIO, ChirpStack, and private LoRaWAN networks.

Powered by a high-capacity 8500mAh Li-SOCl₂ industrial battery, the S31-LB delivers up to 5 years of operation depending on the reporting interval. Additional features include temperature/humidity alarms, datalogging, BLE smartphone configuration, and OTA firmware updates.

This device works seamlessly with ProSight Monitoring Software, providing dashboards, alerts, reporting, and historical trend analysis.
Advanced users can integrate the sensor into custom IoT or SCADA platforms using standard LoRaWAN payloads.
