LoRaWAN Solar-Powered Ultrasonic Distance Sensor
A solar-powered, long-range LoRaWAN ultrasonic distance and level sensor engineered for tanks, dams, silos, waste bins, and smart-city applications. Zero-maintenance operation with renewable power.
Australian Stocked & Locally Supported by ProSense — Works with ProSight and all third-party software.
The LoRaWAN Solar-Powered Ultrasonic Distance Sensor provides reliable, long-range level and distance measurement for industrial, agricultural, and environmental monitoring. With a built-in 0.9W solar panel and rechargeable Li-ion battery, this sensor operates continuously for years with no need for manual battery replacement—ideal for remote locations and unattended assets.
Using advanced ultrasonic time-of-flight measurement with integrated temperature compensation, the sensor accurately measures distances from 280 mm up to 7.5 m, making it suitable for water tanks, dam levels, chemical totes, waste bins, grain silos, parking bays, and more.
The device communicates via LoRaWAN® Class A, offering ultra-low power, long-range wireless transmission to public, private, or hybrid LoRaWAN networks. Configuration is simple using the built-in BLE interface, LoRaWAN downlinks, or AT commands. OTA firmware updates ensure the device stays up-to-date and easy to maintain.
Fully compatible with ProSight Cloud, as well as TTN, ChirpStack, Loriot, Actility, and all third-party IoT platforms.
