The LoRaWAN Rope-Type Water Leak Sensor (Battery Powered) provides wide-area leak detection using a high-sensitivity rope cable that identifies moisture anywhere along its length. Ideal for protecting commercial, industrial, and remote infrastructure, it alerts instantly when water makes contact with the sensing rope.
The device supports LoRaWAN Class A, enabling long-range, low-power wireless transmission to any LoRaWAN network, including The Things Network, ChirpStack, private LoRaWAN gateways, and ProSight Cloud.
It transmits periodic updates and immediate event-based leak alarms with timestamps, event counts, and leak duration. The onboard datalogger stores events during network outages and automatically uploads them when connectivity returns.
Powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI₂ industrial battery, the sensor supports multi-year field deployment. BLE configuration and OTA firmware updates provide easy installation and maintenance.
