The LoRaWAN Battery-Powered Ultrasonic Distance Detection Sensor provides reliable long-distance measurement for industrial and environmental applications. Using precision ultrasonic time-of-flight technology with built-in temperature compensation, it accurately measures distances between 280 mm and 7.5 m, making it ideal for liquid level monitoring, waste bin fill detection, parking guidance, and general asset monitoring.
Powered by a high-capacity 8500mAh Li-SOCI₂ battery, this unit supports multi-year operation on a single battery—perfect for remote sites or infrastructure without power access. Its rugged IP66 weatherproof enclosure is engineered for harsh outdoor Australian conditions.
The sensor communicates via LoRaWAN®, enabling long-range, low-power data transmission to public or private LoRaWAN networks. Configuration is simple through Bluetooth (BLE), LoRaWAN downlinks, or AT commands, with OTA firmware updates ensuring long-term maintainability.
Fully compatible with ProSight and any LoRaWAN platform such as TTN, ChirpStack, Loriot, Senet, and Actility.
