DRAGINO Wireless LoRaWAN Water Flow Meter Sensor is a LoRaWAN water flow sensor designed to measure water flow volume and transmit data to an IoT server. Suitable for indoor and outdoor installations, it can support water usage monitoring, water control and the detection of abnormal flow conditions. Bluetooth configuration, remote LoRaWAN configuration and wireless firmware updates help simplify deployment and ongoing device management.

The DRAGINO Wireless LoRaWAN Water Flow Meter Sensor is an outdoor-capable LoRaWAN flow sensor that measures water flow volume and sends the collected data to an IoT server through a LoRaWAN network. It is designed for applications such as building water monitoring, water control, toilet flow monitoring and wastewater monitoring.

The sensor is available in two power configurations. The SW3L-LB uses an 8,500 or 19000 mAh Li/SOCl2 battery

How it works

  • A compatible flow sensor generates pulses as water passes through it.
  • It records the water flow volume based on the pulse output of the selected flow sensor.
  • Flow data is uploaded periodically, with the manufacturer's page stating a default transmission interval of every 20 minutes.
  • The device can also monitor flow status and report relevant events or alarms through the LoRaWAN network.
  • Data is received by a LoRaWAN server, where it can be used for remote water monitoring and management.
