DRAGINO Water Leak Detection Sensor - LoRaWan | Solar Powered is a LoRaWAN rope type water leak controller designed for remote detection and monitoring of water leaks. A water leak cable is placed along floors or other areas where leaks may occur, allowing the device to detect water contact and send event data to an IoT server through a LoRaWAN network. Available with either an 8500/19000 mAh  Li/SOCl2 battery or a solar panel with a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery, it is suited to long-term monitoring in smart buildings, factories and smart city applications.

The DRAGINO Water Leak Detection Sensor - LoRaWan | Solar Powered is designed for monitoring areas where unwanted water accumulation or leakage needs to be detected remotely. The supplied water leak cable can be laid across the floor or positioned in areas where leaks are likely to occur.

When water contacts the leak cable, the controller detects the event and sends information to an IoT server through a LoRaWAN network. The device also sends periodic data every two hours, counts water leak events and records the duration of the most recent leak event.

The WL03A is available in two power versions. The WL03A-LB uses an 8500/19000 mAh Li/SOCl2 battery, while the WL03A-LS uses a solar panel with a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery. Dragino states that the product is designed for long-term use of up to five years. Actual operating life may vary depending on configuration and operating conditions.
