The DRAGINO RS485 to LoRaWAN Wireless Converter | Solar Powered Available is designed for applications where wired RS485 or UART devices need to communicate over a LoRaWAN network. It provides an interface between compatible sensors or instruments and a LoRaWAN gateway, allowing data to be collected without requiring a direct wired connection to the IoT server.

The converter supports RS485 devices, 3.3 V or 5 V UART sensors and interrupt-based inputs. It can also provide controllable 3.3 V and 5 V outputs for powering external sensors, helping manage the power consumption of connected equipment.

How it works

• The converter connects to an RS485 device, UART sensor or supported input.
• For RS485 communication, it sends user-defined commands to the connected device and receives the returned data.
