The DRAGINO Outdoor Open Source LoRaWAN Gateway with 4G LTE is an open-source outdoor IoT gateway designed to provide a communication bridge between long-range LoRaWAN wireless devices and IP-based networks.

The gateway receives data from LoRaWAN end devices such as temperature sensors, environmental sensors, equipment monitors, agricultural sensors, and other IoT devices. It then forwards the collected data to a network server or IoT platform through available backhaul connections such as Ethernet, WiFi, or 4G cellular communication.

The DRAGINO Outdoor Open Source LoRaWAN Gateway with 4G LTE version incorporates the Quectel EC25 4G LTE module, providing cellular connectivity for installations where wired network access is unavailable or impractical. The outdoor gateway platform also supports standard LoRaWAN communication through a Semtech packet forwarder and LoRaWAN Station connection.

The LoRa radio system uses an SX1301 LoRaWAN concentrator with 2 × SX1257 LoRa transceivers, providing 10 programmable parallel demodulation paths. This architecture enables the gateway to receive communications from multiple LoRaWAN devices and supports scalable wireless IoT network deployments.

The gateway is designed for outdoor environments with IP65 protection, an external fiberglass antenna, PoE support, GPS functionality, and lighting protection.
