DRAGINO NB-IoT Water Quality Sensor Converter with Solar Power Option is an NB-IoT water quality sensor converter designed for remote monitoring of water quality parameters. It supports 1 to 3 compatible probes for measuring parameters such as EC, pH, dissolved oxygen, ORP, turbidity, residual chlorine and COD. Measurements can be transmitted over NB-IoT using MQTT, MQTTS, TCP, UDP or CoAP, making the WQS-NB suitable for connected water monitoring applications where remote data access is required.
The DRAGINO NB-IoT Water Quality Sensor Converter is an NB-IoT water quality sensor converter that collects data from compatible water quality probes and sends the results wirelessly to an IoT server. The main unit supports between one and three probes, allowing different water quality parameters to be monitored from a single monitoring unit.
Supported probe options listed by Dragino include electrical conductivity, pH, oxidation-reduction potential, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, residual chlorine and chemical oxygen demand. The actual measurement range and accuracy depend on the probe selected, so the probe should be specified separately when configuring a complete system.
How it works
- Connect up to three compatible water quality probes to the WQS-NB.
- The connected probes measure their respective water quality parameters.
- The WQS-NB collects the probe data and converts it into wireless IoT data.
- Data can be uploaded over an NB-IoT network using MQTT, MQTTS, TCP, UDP or CoAP.
- Measurement uploads can be configured periodically, while downlink communication can be used to change configuration parameters.
