DRAGINO LoRaWAN Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensor with Solar Power Option is a LoRaWAN ultrasonic liquid level sensor designed to measure liquid height without direct contact with the liquid. Installed beneath a suitable container, it uses ultrasonic sensing to measure the distance through the container wall and sends the measurement to an IoT server via LoRaWAN. The sensor supports a 20 mm to 2000 mm measurement range, an accuracy of ±(5 mm + S × 0.5%), Bluetooth v5.1 configuration and wireless OTA firmware updates.

The DRAGINO LoRaWAN Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensor with Solar Power Option is designed for remote monitoring of liquid levels in suitable tanks and containers. It uses ultrasonic technology to measure the distance to the liquid without direct contact, with the sensor installed on the underside of the container.

Because the sensor does not need to contact the liquid, Dragino states that the DDS20-LB/LS can be used for applications involving toxic substances, strong acids, strong alkalis and pure liquids, including liquids contained in high-temperature and high-pressure airtight containers. Suitability depends on the container construction and installation conditions specified by the manufacturer.

The sensor transmits measurements through a LoRaWAN network to an IoT server. It supports LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A, multiple regional frequency bands, Bluetooth v5.1 configuration and wireless OTA firmware updates.

How it works
