DRAGINO LoRaWAN Open/Close Door Sensoris a LoRaWAN door sensor designed to monitor door open and close status and transmit information to an IoT server. It can record door opening counts and duration, provide an open alarm, and store data when the LoRaWAN connection is unavailable. With LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A communication, Bluetooth v5.1 configuration and wireless OTA firmware updates, it is suited to outdoor monitoring, security systems, building automation and industrial applications.

The DRAGINO LoRaWAN Open/Close Door Sensor is an outdoor LoRaWAN door sensor for remotely monitoring whether a door is open or closed. The sensor communicates with an IoT server through a LoRaWAN network, allowing users to monitor door status and related activity remotely.

The sensor can provide door opening statistics, including the number of openings and the duration of the most recent opening. It can also be configured to generate an open alarm when a door remains open for a specified period.

How it works

  • The sensor detects door open and close activity.
  • Door events can be transmitted to an IoT server through LoRaWAN.
  • The device periodically sends data every 2 hours, as well as sending data for door open/close events according to its configuration.
  • Door opening counts and the last door opening duration can be recorded.
  • The datalog function allows information to be stored when LoRaWAN communication is unavailable and transmitted when the connection is restored.
