DRAGINO LoRaWAN LiDAR Distance Sensor with Solar Power Option is a LoRaWAN LiDAR ToF distance sensor for wireless distance measurement and object detection. It measures distances from 0.1 metre to 12 metres and transmits the measured value to a LoRaWAN IoT server. With laser-based detection, 1 cm distance resolution, Bluetooth v5.1 configuration and wireless OTA firmware updates, it can be used for applications including parking management, object presence detection, intelligent bins, robot obstacle avoidance and sewer monitoring.
The DRAGINO LoRaWAN LiDAR Distance Sensor with Solar Power Option provides wireless distance measurement for IoT monitoring and automation applications. It uses laser induction technology to measure the distance between the sensor and an object, then uploads the measurement wirelessly to a LoRaWAN IoT server.
The sensor has a measurement range of 0.1 metre to 12 metres at 90% reflectivity. At 10% reflectivity, the specified range is 0.1 metre to 4 metres. The sensor provides 1 cm distance resolution and has a 3.6° field of view.
Two power configurations are available. The LDS12-LB uses an 8500 / 19000 mAh Li/SOCl2 battery, while the LDS12-LS uses a solar panel with a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery.
How it works
