The LDS40 Solar-Powered LoRaWAN LiDAR Sensor is a high-performance Time-of-Flight (ToF) distance measurement device engineered for long-range, non-contact monitoring. Using advanced LiDAR laser technology, it accurately measures distances from 0.1m up to 40m, making it ideal for infrastructure monitoring, bin level detection, vehicle detection, automation, robotics, and environmental sensing.
This solar-powered edition integrates a high-efficiency solar panel paired with a 3000mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery, enabling autonomous, maintenance-free operation in remote or off-grid locations.
Built on LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A, the device delivers secure, long-range wireless communication with extremely low power consumption. The electronics enclosure is IP66-rated, and the LiDAR probe is IP65-rated—ensuring reliable performance in outdoor and industrial environments.
Setup is simple with Bluetooth configuration, OTA firmware updates, and flexible uplink intervals. Data integrates seamlessly with ProSight or any third-party LoRaWAN platform such as TTN, ChirpStack, AWS IoT, or private networks.
