Battery-Powered LoRaWAN LiDAR Sensor is an advanced long-range distance measurement device engineered for professional IoT applications. Using Time-of-Flight (ToF) LiDAR laser technology, it measures distances from 0.1m to 40m with exceptional precision. Its narrow 3° field of view allows highly targeted detection, making it suitable for vehicle monitoring, bin level detection, robotics, sewer depth monitoring, grain or bulk material measurement, and industrial automation.
Powered by a long-life 8500mAh Li-SOCI₂ battery, the sensor offers multi-year, maintenance-free deployment, even in remote field environments. With LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A long-range communication, the device transmits reliable data with extremely low power consumption.
The LiDAR probe is IP65-rated and built to endure outdoor conditions, while the main enclosure is IP66-rated for full weather protection. Device configuration is simple through BLE (Bluetooth) and supports wireless OTA firmware updates for easy remote maintenance.
As with all ProSense hardware, this device is Australian stocked and locally supported, and is fully compatible with ProSight or any third-party LoRaWAN or IoT platform.
