Industrial Wireless PAR Light Sensor – Photosynthetically Active Radiation
Monitor plant light exposure in real time. Measures PAR intensity, light presence, and DLI for optimal growth and yield.
The ALTA® Wireless PAR Light Meter is designed for precision monitoring of Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) — the light spectrum essential for photosynthesis and healthy plant development. This sensor measures Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density (PPFD) in µmol/m²/s, giving growers accurate insights into light intensity, duration, and overall exposure.
Ideal for greenhouses, vertical farms, and research applications, this wireless sensor also calculates the Daily Light Integral (DLI)—a key metric for managing plant light requirements. Whether monitoring natural sunlight or artificial grow lights, this sensor provides real-time data and configurable threshold alerts to optimize plant health and maximize yield.
⚠️ Note: Requires a compatible Monnit gateway and may require software. See our Gateway & Software section or explore complete sensor kits for setup.
