DRAGINO NB-IoT Open/Close Door Sensor
DRAGINO NB-IoT Open/Close Door Sensor is an NB-IoT door sensor designed to remotely monitor door open and close status. It can report door events, opening counts and opening duration to an IoT server, while its datalog function stores information when NB-IoT connectivity is temporarily unavailable. Powered by an 8500 / 19000 mAh Li/SOCl2 battery or Solar Panel with 3000mAh Li-ion batteryand designed for outdoor use, it is suited to remote security, building automation and industrial monitoring applications.
The DRAGINO NB-IoT Open/Close Door Sensor provides remote monitoring of door status over a cellular NB-IoT network. It detects open and close events and can send the information to an IoT server, allowing users to monitor door status, opening duration and opening counts remotely.
The sensor is designed for outdoor applications and uses an 8500 / 19000 mAh Li/SOCl2 non-rechargeable battery or Solar Panel with 3000mAh Li-ion batteryfor long-term operation. Dragino specifies an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C, making the unit suitable for installations exposed to a wide range of environmental conditions.
It also supports multiple methods for sending data to IoT servers, including MQTT, MQTTs, UDP and TCP. An optional built-in SIM configuration is available, with Dragino offering a version supplied with a 1NCE SIM and pre-configured connection to ThingsEye.
How it works
- Detects whether the monitored door is open or closed.

- Records door opening counts and calculates the duration of the latest door opening.
- Can be configured to suppress individual event transmissions and instead report accumulated opening counts periodically.
