DRAGINO LoRaWAN CO2 Temperature Humidity & Air Pressure Sensor
DRAGINO LoRaWAN CO2 Temperature Humidity & Air Pressure Sensor is a LoRaWAN indoor air quality sensor designed to monitor carbon dioxide (CO₂), temperature, relative humidity and air pressure. It provides local readings through a 2.7-inch E-Ink display while transmitting measurements to an IoT server through LoRaWAN. The sensor also supports CO₂ and temperature alarms, data logging, Bluetooth configuration and wireless OTA firmware updates. Battery operation allows the unit to be deployed without a wired power connection.
The DRAGINO LoRaWAN CO2 Temperature Humidity & Air Pressure Sensor is an indoor LoRaWAN air quality sensor for monitoring CO₂, temperature, relative humidity and air pressure. Measurements can be transmitted to an IoT server using the LoRaWAN wireless protocol, while the integrated 2.7-inch E-Ink display provides a convenient way to view readings locally.
The CO₂ measurement uses non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology. The specified CO₂ measurement range is 400 ppm to 5000 ppm, with an extended range up to 10,000 ppm. The sensor also measures temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, providing multiple environmental parameters from one device.
How it works
- The sensor measures CO₂ using NDIR technology and simultaneously monitors temperature, relative humidity and air pressure.
- Measurements are displayed locally on the integrated 2.7-inch E-Ink display.
- The unit periodically transmits sensor data through a LoRaWAN network to an IoT server.
- LoRaWAN downlink can be used to change configuration settings.
- Bluetooth can be used for local configuration, while wireless OTA firmware updates provide a way to update the device remotely.
- The built-in datalog feature allows stored sensor data to be retrieved through LoRaWAN commands.
Why choose this product?
- Multi-parameter monitoring - CO₂, temperature, relative humidity and air pressure are measured by one sensor.
- LoRaWAN connectivity - Suitable for wireless IoT monitoring where sensor data needs to be transmitted to a compatible LoRaWAN network.
- Local display - The 2.7-inch E-Ink display allows readings to be viewed directly at the sensor.
- Remote configuration - Supports Bluetooth configuration and LoRaWAN remote configuration.
- Data logging - Sensor data can be retrieved using LoRaWAN commands.
- Firmware updates - Supports wireless OTA firmware updates.
Benefits
The DRAGINO LoRaWAN CO2 Temperature Humidity & Air Pressure Sensor provides a practical way to collect several indoor environmental measurements without requiring separate sensors for each parameter. Its LoRaWAN communication makes it suitable for integration into IoT monitoring systems, while the local display provides direct access to current readings.
Battery operation also allows the sensor to be installed where a wired power connection is not convenient. Dragino specifies an 8000 mAh battery configuration and states approximately 3.5 years of operation at a 10-minute uplink interval. Alarm functions can significantly reduce battery life.
