Weather, soil and water measurements for farms and outdoor infrastructure.
The application
Replace isolated spot readings with measurements that reflect the site. Select the variables, location and reporting interval around the decision you need to make.
Applications & industries
Vineyards and horticulture, irrigation, livestock facilities, research sites, catchments and outdoor asset monitoring.
Equipment & technology families
Rika weather stations and environmental, soil and water sensor families, together with suitable loggers and telemetry. Available measurements and outputs depend on the chosen sensor; a weather station does not automatically include every weather parameter.
System architecture

Weather, soil or water sensor → matching logger or telemetry input → site network or cellular connection → supported monitoring view → operational review and configured alerts.
Selection considerations
List required variables, ranges and accuracy, sensor depth or mounting height, exposure, cable length, output protocol and power. Assess solar and battery autonomy, cellular or radio coverage, lightning protection, enclosure rating and maintenance access. Confirm cleaning, calibration and replacement requirements for the environment.
Frequently asked questions
Can the same sensor measure all soil conditions? Soil-specific installation and calibration may affect results. Is solar power included? Only if identified in the selected kit. Can weather data control irrigation? Control needs an agreed controller, logic, interfaces and fail-safe behaviour; monitoring alone does not provide that function.
Equipment, systems & supporting resources
Kit inclusions vary by listing. Confirm exact part numbers, quantities, accessories, subscriptions and configuration in your quotation.
Discuss your project
Send the application, site conditions, equipment models, required measurements and reporting or control objectives. Our Australian team can confirm selection requirements and quotation scope.
