This Solar-Powered LoRaWAN Temperature Sensor is engineered for long-range, long-life environmental and agricultural monitoring. Designed for remote, off-grid installations, the integrated solar panel continuously recharges the internal Li-ion battery, providing significantly longer operational life compared to battery-only models.

Equipped with a high-accuracy digital temperature probe, the sensor measures –55°C to +125°C with ±0.5°C typical accuracy, making it ideal for soil monitoring, compost systems, irrigation control, greenhouse environments, water temperature profiling, and industrial outdoor applications.

A rugged 2-meter waterproof stainless-steel probe allows precise temperature measurement below soil level or inside harsh environments, while the IP66 outdoor enclosure protects the electronics against dust, rain, and extreme weather.

Using LoRaWAN Class A ultra-low-power wireless technology, the sensor transmits data over several kilometres and integrates seamlessly with AU915/AS923 LoRaWAN networks, including ProSight, TTN, ChirpStack, TagoIO, and private gateways.

The device supports BLE mobile configuration, wireless OTA firmware updates, and local data logging to capture readings even when network coverage is temporarily interrupted. Temperature alarms can be customised to trigger immediate alerts for critical conditions.
