The Solar-Powered LDS40 4G Cellular LiDAR Sensor is a high-accuracy, long-range distance measurement device designed for advanced IoT monitoring applications. Using Time-of-Flight LiDAR laser technology, it accurately measures distances from 0.1m to 40m, making it ideal for outdoor asset monitoring, vehicle detection, waste management, automation, and environmental systems.

This solar edition features a high-efficiency solar panel paired with a 3000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, delivering continuous, maintenance-free power in the field. With 4G cellular connectivity, the device sends real-time distance measurements directly to the cloud—no gateway required.

The rugged IP66 electronics enclosure and IP65 LiDAR probe ensure durability in demanding environments. Bluetooth setup, OTA firmware updates, periodic reporting, and alarm-based triggers provide maximum configurability and ease of maintenance.

As with all ProSense devices, the LDS40 Solar Cellular Sensor is Australian stocked and locally supported, and is ready to integrate seamlessly with ProSight or any third-party IoT platform.
