LoRaWAN Temperature Sensor – High-Accuracy Waterproof Probe with Long-Life

This LoRaWAN Temperature Sensor is purpose-built for industrial, agricultural, and environmental monitoring where long-range wireless communication and long-term reliability are essential. Using a precision digital temperature probe, the sensor measures from –55°C to +125°C with ±0.5°C typical accuracy, making it suitable for soil, compost, water pipes, HVAC ducts, electrical cabinets, refrigeration, and outdoor temperature profiling.

The device includes a rugged 2-meter waterproof stainless-steel probe and a durable IP66 weatherproof enclosure, allowing it to operate confidently in harsh, wet, dusty, or exposed environments.

Powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCl₂ industrial battery, the sensor delivers up to 5 years of autonomous operation depending on reporting intervals, making it ideal for remote or difficult-to-access installations.

Using ultra-low-power LoRaWAN Class A, the device transmits data over several kilometres and integrates easily into any LoRaWAN AU915/AS923 network, including ProSight, TTN, ChirpStack, TagoIO, and private gateways.

The sensor includes BLE configuration, wireless OTA firmware updates, temperature alarms, and on-device data logging to ensure no readings are lost, even when network connectivity is temporarily unavailable.

All ProSense sensors — including this model — are fully compatible with our ProSight Monitoring Software, offering dashboards, alerts, historical trends, and remote configuration.
Advanced users can also integrate it into their own software platform via standard LoRaWAN payloads, MQTT, or API connections.
