The LoRaWAN Solar-Powered Dry Contact Sensor provides reliable monitoring of open/close states, contact activity, and event duration in remote or hard-to-reach installations. Built with an IP67 weatherproof housing, this sensor is purpose-designed for industrial, agricultural, and building-automation environments where long-term, maintenance-free performance is essential.
It detects dry contact open/close events, counts every activation, and records the duration of each contact cycle. Data is transmitted via LoRaWAN to any compatible cloud platform, including ProSight, TTN, ChirpStack, and private LoRaWAN servers.
A built-in 3000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery is continuously charged via an integrated solar panel, enabling multi-year autonomous operation without battery replacement.
The unit supports Bluetooth configuration, wireless OTA firmware updates, datalogging during outages, and programmable open-duration alarms for instant notification when contacts stay open too long.
This device is ideal for remote gates, access-control sensors, alarms, pumps, irrigation infrastructure, and machinery status monitoring.
