This LoRaWAN AI Image Sensor is an advanced edge device that combines an onboard camera with an integrated AI processor to automatically read mechanical meter digits. The sensor periodically captures images of your meter, analyses them locally using AI, and transmits either the digital reading or the full compressed image to your IoT platform via LoRaWAN.
Pre-trained for water meters, gas meters, and electricity meters, it eliminates the need for manual readings, site visits, or complex wiring. The onboard processor can also be retrained for additional applications, such as industrial gauges, indicators, mechanical dials, and custom numeric displays.
With very low power consumption and a long-life 8500mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery, the device is built for years of autonomous operation in remote or hard-to-access locations. It supports Bluetooth configuration via mobile phone and OTA firmware upgrades for simple deployment and maintenance.
Compatible with ProSight Cloud, or any AU915/AS923 LoRaWAN network including TTN, ChirpStack, TagoIO, and private LoRaWAN systems.
