The Monnit ALTA® IoT Cellular Gateway is a powerful, wireless solution for connecting ALTA® sensors to the iMonnit® Cloud Platform using 4G LTE CAT-M1/NB2 cellular technology. With no reliance on local internet or IT infrastructure, this gateway enables plug-and-play remote monitoring for critical environments, equipment, or mobile assets.
Available in both commercial and industrial versions, the gateway communicates directly with your ALTA sensors to transmit environmental or equipment data to the cloud and trigger alerts in real time.
With a built-in 60-hour backup battery, the system ensures continued data transmission even during power loss. It also features GNSS capability (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS) for geolocation tracking (when enabled via subscription), making it ideal for mobile or distributed installations. The commercial version includes an RJ-45 Ethernet port for local configuration.
