The Battery-Powered 4G Cellular Door Sensor is a high-reliability, long-range monitoring device designed for doors, gates, hatches, cabinets and external access points. Using a direct 4G LTE Cat-M1 / NB-IoT connection, it reports door open/close events, duration, and counts without requiring a LoRaWAN gateway or local network infrastructure.
Built for remote and unattended locations, this version is powered by a high-capacity industrial Li-SOCI₂ battery (8500mAh) designed to operate for multiple years depending on reporting intervals and alarm activity. The weatherproof outdoor enclosure ensures consistent operation across Australian climate conditions — from extreme heat to heavy rainfall.
The sensor offers event-based reporting, scheduled uploads, and open-duration alarms. A built-in datalogging system stores all readings during network outages and automatically uploads them once connectivity returns. With mobile BLE app configuration and OTA firmware updates, deployment and fleet maintenance are incredibly simple.
