ACREL Energy Storage Energy Management System (EMS)
Energy Storage Energy Management (EMS) with the listed hardware for electrical and equipment monitoring. Select the required configuration and additional sensors where available.
The ACREL Energy Storage Energy Management System (EMS) is designed to provide a central monitoring and management platform for industrial and commercial energy storage installations.
It brings information from different parts of an energy storage system into a common interface. Depending on the system configuration, this can include the power conversion system (PCS), battery management system (BMS), energy meters, temperature monitoring, fire protection, air conditioning and other auxiliary equipment.
The platform can display charging and discharging status, battery state information, system power curves, alarms and other operating data. Historical information can also be used for trend analysis, reporting and system management.
How it works
- Collects system data: The EMS gathers operating information from connected energy storage equipment, including PCS, BMS, meters and auxiliary systems.
- Processes and displays information: Collected data is processed and presented through the visual monitoring interface, allowing operators to view operating conditions, trends, alarms and other system information.
- Monitors battery and PCS operation: Depending on the connected equipment, the system can monitor battery SOC, SOH, voltage, current and temperature, together with PCS electrical and operating parameters.
- Applies energy management strategies: The system supports planned charging and discharging, peak shaving and valley filling, demand control and backup power strategies.
- Supports reporting and historical analysis: Energy storage operating information can be displayed through curves, tables and reports, with data query and export functions available in the documented configuration.
Why choose this product?
The ACREL Energy Storage Energy Management System (EMS) is suited to installations where operators need more than basic battery monitoring. It brings multiple energy storage subsystems into a single management environment, helping provide a clearer view of system operation and allowing configured control strategies to be applied from the EMS.
Its ability to work with energy storage cabinets and containers makes it suitable for a range of industrial and commercial energy storage projects.
