The 4G Battery-Powered Microwave Radar Distance Sensor is a rugged, non-contact measurement device that uses 60 GHz FMCW microwave radar to reliably detect distance from 15 cm up to 1200 cm. Microwave radar technology ensures stable operation in real-world conditions including condensation, heavy dust, steam, fog, mud, and debris—making it ideal for applications where ultrasonic or optical-based sensors often struggle.
Powered by a long-life 8500mAh industrial Li-SOCI₂ battery, this sensor supports multi-year operation without external power, ideal for remote locations and assets with no mains or solar availability.
Data is transmitted directly to your cloud or SCADA platform via 4G Cat-M1/NB-IoT, supporting MQTT, MQTTs, TCP, UDP, and CoAP protocols. It includes BLE configuration, remote OTA firmware updates, and full compatibility with ProSight plus any third-party IoT platform.
