Milesight CT3xx LoRAWAN Sensor Smart Current Transformer Non-Invasive Used For E
The Milesight CT3xx is a LoRaWAN-enabled current transformer sensor designed for accurate, non-invasive energy monitoring across single and three-phase systems. With high sampling accuracy and optional temperature sensing, it delivers real-time electrical data without interrupting operations.
The Milesight CT3xx LoRaWAN Current Transformer Sensor is a powerful solution for monitoring electrical current in industrial, commercial, and building environments. Designed for non-intrusive installation, the clamp-on CT allows measurement of live conductors without disconnecting or modifying existing wiring, significantly reducing installation time and downtime.
The CT3xx measures RMS current with high accuracy (±1%) and supports primary currents up to 500A, making it suitable for monitoring large loads such as motors, HVAC systems, and distribution circuits. With a high sampling frequency of 3.3 kHz, it captures detailed load behaviour, enabling better analysis of energy usage and equipment performance.
In addition to current measurement, the unit includes integrated temperature sensing, allowing monitoring of cable or equipment temperature for early fault detection and preventative maintenance.
Using LoRaWAN technology, the CT3xx transmits data over long distances with low power consumption, making it ideal for distributed monitoring systems. It integrates seamlessly with gateways and platforms such as The Things Stack for cloud-based analytics, alarms, and reporting.
Typical applications include energy monitoring, load profiling, equipment diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and smart building energy management.
