DRAGINO NB-IoT 4-Channel Ultrasonic Distance Sensor
DRAGINO NB-IoT 4-Channel Ultrasonic Distance Sensor is a battery-powered NB-IoT distance detection device designed to monitor up to four distances using external ultrasonic sensors. It measures the distance between each probe and the target object, then sends the collected data wirelessly to an IoT server. With support for multiple probe types, Bluetooth 5.1 configuration, OTA firmware updates and several data communication protocols, it is suited to remote distance, level and presence monitoring applications.
The DRAGINO NB-IoT 4-Channel Ultrasonic Distance Sensor is a 4-channel NB-IoT distance detection sensor designed for applications where multiple distance measurements need to be collected and transmitted remotely.
The device can connect to up to four external ultrasonic sensors, allowing four distances to be measured at the same time. The actual detection range depends on the external probe selected, so the probe should be matched to the required measurement application.
The DRAGINO NB-IoT 4-Channel Ultrasonic Distance Sensor communicates measurements through an NB-IoT network and supports MQTT, MQTTs, UDP and TCP uplink methods. This allows the device to send data to different IoT servers according to the requirements of the monitoring system.
How it works
- External ultrasonic probes detect the distance between the probe and the target object.
- Up to four distance detection channels can be connected to the DRAGINO NB-IoT 4-Channel Ultrasonic Distance Sensor.
- The device collects multiple measurements and can send them together in a single uplink.
- Measurement data is transmitted wirelessly through the NB-IoT network to an IoT server.
- Bluetooth 5.1 can be used for remote configuration and firmware updates.
- The sensor can be configured for periodic uplinks, while downlink communication can be used to change configuration settings.
Why choose this product?
- Four-channel measurement - A single device can monitor up to four distance points.
- NB-IoT connectivity - Provides cellular IoT communication for remote monitoring without requiring a local wired data connection.
- Flexible probe selection - Different external probe types can be used, with detection range determined by the selected probe.
- Low-power operation - The device is designed for long-term battery-powered operation and specifies 10 A consumption in STOP mode at 3.3V.
- Remote configuration - Bluetooth 5.1 support allows configuration and firmware updates without requiring a physical wired connection.
- Flexible data integration - MQTT, MQTTs, UDP and TCP are supported for communication with IoT servers.
Benefits
The four-channel arrangement can reduce the number of separate communication devices required when several measurement points are located within the same monitoring system. The wireless NB-IoT connection also allows collected measurements to be transferred to an IoT platform for remote monitoring and data management.
