DRAGINO LoRaWAN Temperature Humidity and Illuminance Sensor
DRAGINO LoRaWAN Temperature Humidity and Illuminance Sensor is a long-range LoRaWAN sensor for monitoring temperature, humidity and illuminance. It combines built-in temperature and humidity sensing with an external illuminance probe based on the BH1750 sensor. Supporting LoRaWAN v1.0.3 Class A and multiple frequency bands, it can connect to a standard LoRaWAN gateway for wireless data transmission. A built-in 2400mAh non-chargeable battery provides more than 10 years of potential use, depending on data transmission frequency.
The DRAGINO LoRaWAN Temperature Humidity and Illuminance Sensor provides wireless monitoring of three environmental parameters in one device. Temperature and humidity are measured by sensors built into the main unit, while illuminance is measured through an external probe.
The sensor is designed for professional wireless sensor network applications where measurements need to be collected remotely. Its LoRaWAN communication provides long-range spread spectrum communication with high interference immunity and low current consumption.
How it works
- The built-in sensors measure temperature and relative humidity.
- The external illuminance probe measures light levels using a BH1750-based sensor.
- Measured data is transmitted wirelessly using the LoRaWAN Class A protocol.
- The device can operate with a standard LoRaWAN gateway.
- Parameters can be changed using AT commands or remotely configured through LoRaWAN downlink.
- Firmware can be upgraded through the program port.
Why choose this product
- Three environmental measurements - Temperature, humidity and illuminance can be monitored using one sensor system.
- Long-range wireless communication - LoRaWAN is suited to applications where sensors may be distributed across larger areas.
- Long battery life - The built-in 2400mAh non-chargeable battery is specified for more than 10 years of use, subject to transmission frequency.
- Flexible deployment - Multiple LoRaWAN frequency bands are available for different regional requirements.
- Remote configuration - Device parameters can be configured through LoRaWAN downlink without requiring direct physical access.
Benefits
The DRAGINO LoRaWAN Temperature Humidity and Illuminance Sensor can reduce the need for separate wireless devices when temperature, humidity and light-level monitoring are required in the same location. Its external illuminance probe also allows the light measurement point to be positioned separately from the main sensor enclosure.
The long battery life specification makes the device suitable for installations where frequent battery replacement would be inconvenient. Actual battery performance will depend on the selected operating and transmission settings.
