ACREL AKH-0.66 G-150x50ii Solid Core Metering Current Transformer is a measuring current transformer designed for AC current measurement and electrical metering. It supports primary current ratios from 1500 A to 5000 A with a 5 A or 1 A secondary configuration. The G-150x50II has a 155 x 55 mm through opening and is designed for installation around suitable busbar arrangements.

        •

The ACREL AKH-0.66 G-150x50ii Solid Core Metering Current Transformer is part of Acrel's AKH-0.66 G series of measuring current transformers. The series is designed for electrical measurement and metering, with a transparent polycarbonate cover that allows the secondary wiring to be viewed.

The G-150x50II configuration provides a large through opening and is intended for higher-current installations. The manufacturer specifies primary current ratios from 1500 A to 5000 A, with secondary ratings of 5 A or 1 A. For the G-150x50II, the published accuracy and rated load combinations are class 0.5S at 10 VA and class 0.2S at 10 VA.

          How it works

          • The conductor or busbar carrying the measured AC current passes through the current transformer.
          • The transformer converts the primary current to a lower secondary current suitable for compatible measuring and metering equipment.
          • The selected current ratio and accuracy configuration determine the measurement characteristics of the transformer.

          Why choose this product

          • Designed specifically for electrical measurement and metering applications.
          • Supports high primary current measurements from 1500 A to 5000 A.
          • Large 155 x 55 mm through opening accommodates the specified installation arrangement.
          • Available with 5 A or 1 A secondary current configurations.
          • Transparent cover provides visibility of the secondary wiring.

          Benefits

          • Suitable for high-current electrical measurement.
          • Provides a practical interface between high-current conductors and compatible measuring equipment.
          • Available in different current ratio and accuracy configurations to suit the measurement requirement.
          • Large aperture design supports installation around larger busbar arrangements.
