ACREL AC Current Transformer for Cable and Busbar Measurement 80I

The ACREL AC Current Transformer for Cable and Busbar Measurement 80I is designed for AC current measurement in electrical distribution and monitoring systems. It works with measuring instruments by collecting the AC current signal from the primary circuit and providing a lower secondary current for measurement.

The series covers primary current ratios from 15 A to 3000 A, depending on the selected configuration. Secondary outputs are available as 5 A or 1 A, with the manufacturer's product page specifying a measurement range of 5-120% of the rated value.

The transformer is available in 30I, 40I, 60I and 80I physical configurations. The different sizes provide different cable through-holes and busbar arrangements, allowing the appropriate version to be selected according to the conductor dimensions and required current ratio.
