The Solar-Powered LoRaWAN Auto-Cleaning LiDAR Distance Sensor is a robust industrial-grade Time-of-Flight (ToF) distance sensor designed for long-term outdoor use. It measures distances from 0.1 to 25 metres, delivering high accuracy even in dusty, high-reflectivity or variable-light installations.

This version includes an integrated solar panel + rechargeable Li-ion battery system, enabling long-term autonomous operation without the need for battery replacements—perfect for remote mine sites, farms, silos, conveyors, stockpiles, material bunkers, and open-air industrial monitoring.

A major advantage is the built-in motorised self-cleaning brush, which sweeps the optical lens to remove dust buildup. The cleaning cycle is fully user-configurable via LoRaWAN downlink or BLE, ensuring consistent measurements across harsh conditions.

The device supports LoRaWAN Class A, BLE configuration, and over-the-air firmware updates. With an IP-rated LiDAR probe and ruggedised housing, it integrates seamlessly into ProSight or any other LoRaWAN server.
