Smart 5G Edge Gateway – AI-Enabled Industrial IoT Router with Multi-Protocol
AI-powered 5G edge gateway with rich I/O, edge computing, and protocol support for Industry 4.0, energy, smart cities, and critical infrastructure.
Product Description
Specifications
The Smart 5G Edge Gateway is a next-generation industrial IoT gateway designed for high-performance edge computing, secure data transmission, and AI-driven applications. Powered by a quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A55 processor with integrated NPU (up to 1 TOPS) and GPU, this device is ideal for mission-critical deployments across sectors like Industry 4.0, smart grids, transportation, telecom, and renewable energy.
With support for both 5G NR and 4G LTE, this gateway delivers ultra-fast, low-latency cellular connectivity. It comes equipped with a wide range of interfaces and I/Os including 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, RS232, 6 RS485, 4 digital inputs, 4 relay outputs, USB 3.0/2.0, optional Wi-Fi 6, and HDMI. Local storage options include 16GB eMMC flash (expandable to 128GB), and NVMe SSD up to 2TB.
The gateway runs on Bivocom OS, with the flexibility to use OpenWRT, Ubuntu, or Docker containers, making it ideal for developers working in Python, C/C++, or container-based environments. It supports advanced industrial protocols such as MQTT (broker/client), Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, JSON, DNP3, IEC101/104, and VPN*.
⚠️ Note: Some protocols may require customized firmware. Wi-Fi 6, HDMI, and supercapacitor backup are optional.
