This LoRaWAN Auto-Cleaning LiDAR Distance Sensor is an advanced Time-of-Flight (ToF) device engineered for high-precision distance measurement in demanding environments. It measures distances from 0.1 to 25 metres using laser-based ToF technology, offering excellent accuracy even in dusty, high-particle, or variable-light conditions.
A key feature is the integrated self-cleaning optical brush, which periodically clears dust and debris from the LiDAR window to maintain consistent performance. Users can fully customise the cleaning cycle to match site conditions—ideal for mines, grain silos, feedlots, industrial chutes, conveyors, material bunkers, and outdoor installations.
Powered by an 8500mAh industrial-grade battery, this device supports multi-year operation. It also includes BLE configuration, LoRaWAN remote settings, and wireless OTA firmware updates, making setup and fleet maintenance fast and efficient.
With an IP5X-rated LiDAR probe and wide environmental resilience, this sensor is suitable for applications such as ore material monitoring, bulk solids measurement, crop level monitoring, automated control, and horizontal distance measurement.
As with all ProSense solutions, it is Australian stocked, locally supported, and works seamlessly with ProSight and any LoRaWAN platform such as ChirpStack, TTN, Loriot, or private LTE/LoRa networks.
