A split (remote display) electromagnetic flow meter designed for accurate measurement of conductive liquids in industrial and utility applications. This split electromagnetic flow meter uses non-intrusive electromagnetic sensing to measure the flow of conductive liquids with no moving parts. The remote display configuration allows the sensor body to be installed in demanding environments—such as wet pits, buried lines, or corrosive areas—while the display and electronics are mounted remotely for ease of access and maintenance.
The PTFE-lined flow tube provides chemical resistance and smooth flow characteristics, while corrosion-resistant electrodes support stable measurement in water, seawater, and compatible acidic or alkaline liquids. Local indication at the remote display shows flow rate and totalised flow, and multiple output options enable straightforward integration with PLCs, RTUs, and SCADA systems.
